This opportunity is for a change control or risk management program manager. Day to day responsibilities would include serving as the change control/risk management program manager for the SNC Project Controls department with specific expertise or experience in cost/risk management, change control/change management, variance analysis, and financial reporting. This person would manage a 2-3 person team to achieve the Control/Risk Department and Project Controls organization’s objectives. Additional duties would include supporting the Vogtle project management leadership team by leading meetings of the Change Control Board, ensuring high-quality review documents are available to members, managing the control of project changes, coordinating deliverables and reports, and supporting internal and external audits and assessments.

Requirements for qualification include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent work/education experience; 5-10 years of broadly based experience in cost management, change control, risk management; knowledge of internal control procedures, risk management principles and change management process; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, especially the development and use of pivot tables, and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.

 

Project Coordinator Principal in Richland, WA

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of projects, including acting as the Project Technical Representative for budgeting, invoicing, billing, and cost management. Under minimal supervision, this role acts as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects, including planning, scheduling, and controlling project activities. The Project Coordinator maintains a knowledge base of new developments and technology and conducts outreach activities to member utilities supporting Energy Services & Development initiatives.

 

U2 Cooling Tower Nuclear Planner in Baxley, GA

This 1-year assignment is a great opportunity for anyone in the nuclear energy field with experience planning large modification projects in the nuclear industry. Desired qualifications include SNC planning experience and familiarity with Maximo software. This person may also be asked to work on other work order planning for various modifications. There are physical requirements of the job, including lifting, climbing, prolonged walking, ladder climbing, uneven surfaces, etc. For the ~10 % field walkdowns. This position is not a government-related project, but it requires unescorted access to a nuclear plant’s protected area.
