It takes time to build that consistency, but if you do then you will be rewarded with the trust of recruiters.

Your personal brand and online reputation matters, not just from a company perspective, but also from a hiring perspective. The effort you take to manage your brand online can make a huge difference in a job search. But if you don’t know where to start when it comes to building a strong online reputation, it can seem like something you have little to no control over. That’s not the case. Because there’s a lot you can do the proactively build that brand online.

For example, when was the last time your social profiles were updated? Are you on LinkedIn? Facebook? Twitter? Do you have fresh and relevant content posted regularly? What comes up when someone Google’s your name? Making sure that these touch points are saying what you want them to say is a critical step to building a solid brand online and making sure you know what people are seeing when they look you up on the web.
